My name is Katarina, I’m a graphic designer with a background in fine art, animation and graphic design.

I enrolled in H.B Beal for the BealArt program, specializing in Textiles and Animation, and graduated with the Molly Thompson Eynon Award for achievements in fabrics and textiles. My decision to pursue the graphic design program at Fanshawe College stemmed from my aspiration to launch a small business. I believe this program would equip me with essential skills, including contract management, website design, digital illustration, and both print and digital layout techniques. I’m on track to complete my graphic design degree at Fanshawe in May 2024.

I specialize in designing User Interfaces, Publications, Illustrations, and Motion Graphics. The dynamic aspect of UI design, particularly the thrill of prototyping and animating designs, captivates me. This passion extends to Motion Graphics and animations. Illustrative design is a source of joy, offering the opportunity to craft expressive narratives from scratch. Designing characters and backgrounds with compelling stories is a fulfilling process, and I enjoy unravelling their narratives as I bring them to life through my drawings.

In addition to my graphic design pursuits, I am the proud owner of a small business named KFearFirman. Through KFearFirman, I curate and sell a collection of ceramics and illustrations that draw inspiration from the elegance and aesthetics of the Victorian Era. This venture allows me to blend my passion for design with entrepreneurial creativity.

I’m an experienced, hardworking and responsible individual with a keen eye for detail. I work well both individually and as a team, and can be relied upon to be punctual, cheerful and driven. I’m always looking for ways to improve myself and to support those around me, and work consistently well under pressure. I am looking for a job where I can utilize my existing skills and learn new ones.
